The G-Priv 3 Vape Kit from Smok is the latest in stylish box mods from the G-Priv series and it has received a huge upgrade in both hardware and software. The G-Priv 3 is powered by dual 18650 batteries and has a maximum power output of up to 230W. The mod comes with the newly designed TFV16 Lite Tank that uses two different sub ohm coils to provide the user with dense vapour and incredible flavour production.

The G-PRIV 3 is the latest stylish box mod of G-PRIV series, with an all-round upgrade in both software and hardware. It includes a modern box mod that is powered by a new IQ-G chipset, which can deliver up to 230 watts of power. Its 2.4 inch large touch screen is highly responsive, and you can get the information you need with a simple click.

The mod comes with a newly designed TFV16 Lite Tank paired with two new mesh coils: Conical Mesh Coil powered by nexMesh Technology and Dual Mesh Coil. Try this new version and continue to enjoy the pleasant vaping brought by G-PRIV series.

The G-Priv 3 Kit is available in 4 stunning colours that can be seen below. Each mod has a matching TFV16 Lite Tank in the same colour to ensure the vape kit looks sleek.

The G-Priv 3 Kit includes the G-Priv Mod, TFV16 Lite Vape Tank, two replacement coils (TFV16 Lite Conical Mesh 0.2 Ohm - Presinstalled / TFV16 Lite Dual Mesh 015 Ohm Coil), a replacement glass tube, USB charging cable and a User Manual.

The TFV16 Lite Vape Tank is newly designed by Smok and features a large selection of upgrades over previous tanks including an improved airflow system and a gold plated 510 pin to improve connectivity.

The design of the G-Priv 3 Kit is amazing to look at! The back panel of the G-Priv 3 mod adopts an acrylic patterned panel with a mellow and smooth texture, whose vibrant colours make the mod look even more stylish and trendier than ever before. The box mod is styled to fit perfectly into the palm of your hand and feel comfortable to use.

The Smok G-Priv 3 has a super-sized 2.4 inch screen which is both a colour screen and has touchscreen capabilities. The menu functionality of the G-Priv 3 can easily be navigated using the touchscreen feature making the device simple to use and the information needed, very easy to see. The User Interface shows information such as VW/TC modes, vaping effect, battery life, voltage output and wattage output. The screen is also customisable with 6 theme colours that you can select depending on your preference.

The G-Priv 3 Kit utilises the IQ-G chipset to achieve very high performance as well as powering the new user interface. With the 32-bit processor, it can power up to 230W and offers a flash fire speed of 0.001s with the maximum current output being able to reach up to 50A.

For some traditional mods, you need to press Fire Key for several times to lock/unlock the screen, while G-PRIV 3 simplifies the operation. With this independent button you can lock/unlock the screen easily (at the state of power on.) 

Note: Locking the Fire key will lock the touch function simultaneously. To use the touch function again, you need to press and hold the secondary key for 2 seconds to unlock the touch function.

Press and hold the secondary key for 2 seconds to lock the screen, but you can still fire the device. 

Fast press the fire key for three times, and then you can not vape anymore with locked device; with another same operation, you can unlock the device and vape again.

The decorative pattern of the rear panel uses the shell series: gold shell, purple shell, 7-color shell and brick red shell, symbolizing unremitting pursuit and powerful strength.

The battery replacement is both convenient and safe. The back panel of the G-Priv 3 is connected securely to the mod via 3 magnets. This will ensure the battery door is kept on securely and will not be loose.

What makes a Sub-Ohm Kit?

First of all, let's clarify what Ohms are. An ohm is the measure of electrical resistance of the coil inside an atomizer or tank. It is normally shown using this symbol - Ω. The more wraps a coil has and the thinner said wire is, the higher the resistance and fewer, thicker wraps of wire tend to be a lower resistance. Any atomizer coil with a resistance bellow 1.00 ohms such as (0.50, 0.15, etc.) is a sub ohm coil.

What are the best liquid to use on DTL devices?

DTL (Direct To Lung or most commonly known as Sub-Ohm) devices are better used with VG-based E-Liquids, as they are much thicker than PG based liquids, and more intense than MTL. They are also best used with a lower nicotine strength, increasing the flavour production. Direct-To-Lung tanks use thicker e-liquids, like those comprised of 60% VG or higher percentages. This delivers a lower throat hit, as well as an enhanced flavour.

Should i go for Nicotine Salt or Pure Base Nicotine?

Nicotine Salt is a “newer” form of nicotine that has been finding its way into eliquid over the past few years. While Pure Base tends to be quite harsh, Nic Salt is much smoother on your throat while inhaled, and due to this, most Nic Salts E-Liquids contain a higher level of Nicotine. Also Nic Salts effect on your body is different; while Pure Base Nicotine gives you a slower and constant Nicotine dose, the first gives you a much faster Nicotine Rush, which your body assimilates at a quicker rate. So, if you are looking to stop smoking, and afraid of Nicotine craving while still wanting a smooth vape, Nic Salts should be your pick, but if you are looking for a harsher throat hit at a lower Nicotine dosage, sticking with Pure Base could be the better option.

How long can a battery last, and what chargers should i use?

Ideally you want to use the compatible charger provided with the purchase kit, at all times. The reason for this is if a charger that is not compatible to the device is used, too much current goes into the batteries, meaning they can overheat and eventually stop functioning. Battery capacities vary from each device; they will indicate an mAh, which essentially is the battery capacity. Usually after a 6 months use, the capacity within the battery starts to decrease, making the battery life last less.

What's the difference between voltage and wattage?

Voltage is the direct current given out by the battery and the wattage is the measure of power distributed to the coil from the battery. Wattage can be changed easily using a variable wattage device. More importantly, Voltage will take all the set power the user has defined in the menu and send all of it through the coil. Variable Wattage on the other hand uses the coil's resistance as a guideline and takes the Ohms into consideration, ensuring too much power is not sent to the coil causing it to fail. VW is used in every single regulated device today as it is the most popular form of adjustment.

What is the temperature control range on a device?

Some mods have temperature control modes - the range shows the temperature that the coils will heat up to when the product is in use. This is normally between 200°C- 250°C / 392°F – 480°F although it tends to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The great thing about a temperature control mod, is the ability to fine tune the best temperature for a coil. For instance, a temperature can be set for a particular coil and the device will do it's best to stay within that set temperature range. Some vapers enjoy a cooler or warmer vape and the TC mode allows them to fine tune their vape.
