Uwell have released the Caliburn AK2. This exceptional little pod kit was released shortly after the widely loved Caliburn A2. It takes on the square shape of the previous Caliburn KOKO making it, even more, pocket friendly. The button has also been ditched so no more worrying about it firing in your pocket.
The buttonless design will appeal to smokers trying to move on to vaping as it is the closest experience you can get thanks to the auto-draw feature. The 520mAh battery will last the average user around 10 hours of charge and charges 0-100% in under 35 minutes!
LED light indicated battery level:
- Red: >30% (blinking means out of charge)
- Blue: 30-70%
- Green: <70% (solid means fully charged)
The Caliburn A2 Pods feature a divine 0.9ohm coil that produces immaculate flavour and should last around a week before burning out. That's longer than most coils out there. The coil is pre-installed and non-removable meaning all you have to do is change the whole pod once it burns out making it so much easier, hassle-free and you can even have multiple pods filled with different flavours at one time.
The pods are compatible with both the Uwell Caliburn A2 and AK2 and are ideal for use with Nicotine Salt or 50PG/50VG e-liquid. Your e-liquid level can be monitored through the check window and the pods guarantee a leak-free, mess-free experience.
Please note: This kit does not come with a USB-C charging cable. Please avoid fast charging as this can deplete the battery.
More Details
The make-up of the Uwell Caliburn AK2 is super simple. The drip tip (mouthpiece) is super comfortable to use and it also works as a lid for the pod which you remove when refilling the pod. The Pod itself contains the 0.9ohm coil and also stores 2ml of your chosen e-liquid. The device pushes out the power which heats up the coil and vaporises the e-liquid. It has a USB-C port which allows the device to be charged super quick for minimal downtime. The air inlet allows air to pass through as you inhale. It is quite a tight airflow which is perfect for someone looking to replicate a cigarette style hit. Finally, the LED indicator lets you know how much battery you have left and the status of the battery when charging.
Filling up the Caliburn A2 Pod is so easy and mess-free. You pop the drip tip off sideways which exposes the airflow tube and fill port. Fill up only through the red hole and leave a little bit of air at the top of the pod so the e-liquid has space to move around. This will prevent it from leaking. The pod itself is designed to be ultra leak-proof thanks to the rubber fittings pre-installed in it.
One of the most portable Pod Kits around! The Uwell Caliburn AK2 has a great pocket-friendly design and is as thick as a cardholder or mobile phone. The square design allows it to fit in super shallow pockets. If you don't have any pockets, don't worry, it comes with a durable silicone lanyard so you can hang it around your neck and lose the risk of misplacing it.

Questions and Answers
How do you charge a Uwell Caliburn AK2?
To charge the Caliburn AK2 you plug in a UCB-C cable into the port at the bottom of the kit. Avoid using a fast-charging wall plug as the 520mAh battery will still charge 0-100% in only 35 minutes. Fast charging will damage the battery and void the warranty. The device should last a full day on one charge. When the Uwell Caliburn AK2 is dead, the LED light will flash red and when fully charged, the light will stay solid green.
LED Colours:
Red: >30%
Blue: 30-70%
Green: <70%
How do you change the coil on a Uwell Caliburn AK2?
The Caliburn A2 actually uses pre-made pods meaning the coil is non-removable and you change the whole pod instead. Once you start getting a burnt taste, change the pod as the coil inside it has burnt out. When you fill-up a new pod, wait at least 2 minutes before vaping to let the e-liquid soak into the coil.
What wattage is the Uwell Caliburn AK2?
There is no wattage control on the Caliburn AK2 but the device outputs a constant of 15W. When the battery level drops to red, the device will push out 12W of power to prolong the battery life. This gives the user a super satisfying MTL experience and allows the kit to produce maximum flavour from the 0.9ohm Pod.
